Job Description - RTO Trainer & Project Coordinator

As the RTO Trainer & Project Coordinator you will support the design and delivery of TLC’s specialised training programs and nationally recognised traineeships.

To succeed in this part-time (30 hours per week) role based in the south-east Melbourne, you will have a strong interest in areas of medication, dementia, health and aged care.

You will also demonstrate strength in collaboration and exposure within a Registered Training Organisation, education or training environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Generate, implement and review detailed training plans
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on contemporary training strategies
  • Champion legislation and compliance to new and existing employees
  • Deliver world-class training programs and subsequent assessments
  • Mentor and develop other Trainers and Assessors on best practice

What you’ll need 

  • TAE40116 / TAE40122 qualification
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Aged Care
  • Division 1 Registered Nurse
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)   
  • 2024 influenza vaccination   
  • NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)   
  • Working with Children Check
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
