Sales & Executive Assistant - TPEC Pool Enclosures & Rollerdeck

Location: Melbourne, St Kilda road, and working remotely at times. 

Job Type: Part time 3-4 days or full time

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant with EA experience to join our team, working across two to three product groups - pool enclosures and pool cover systems. This role involves being the initial point of contact for customers, managing the sales pipeline, developing quotes, delivering process improvement, and forecasting sales. Additional to this but to a lesser degree to aiding the General Manager in overflow tasks when required. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales growth, while also assisting in supplier liaisons, including with international suppliers. The candidate will also be self motivated and self-sufficient once competent, highly persistent, but will also work with a small team of staff who will collaborate and support each other to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and building strong customer relationships. This will be supported by the GM, who is also heavily involved in the sales process.
  • Follow up with customers promptly to understand their needs and guide them through the buying process.
  • Manage the sales pipeline efficiently, ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and followed up on. 
  • Develop accurate and competitive quotes in collaboration with the technical team and GM.
  • Assist in managing the GM’s time to keep all parties efficient and accountable
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline sales operations and enhance customer experience.
  • Assist in sales forecasting periodically, analysing trends, and preparing reports for the team.
  • Work closely with the product teams across both TPEC Pool Enclosures and Rollerdeck to stay informed on product features, benefits, and availability.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with international suppliers to ensure product availability and resolve any issues.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to maintain product knowledge and sales skills.
  • They may also be a component of project administration and planning depending on workload and experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a related industry. EA experience is preferred as well. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and partners.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for accuracy in quotes and reports.
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement.
  • Experience in working with CRM systems and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with suppliers, including international partners.
  • Ability to work from home or independently at times in an efficient manner.
  • Knowledge of the pool industry is a plus, but not required.
