About the business

We are on the lookout for a Sales & PM Trust Accounts person to work within a bustling agency based in the on the City Fringe! This role has become available as the business has grown and they are bringing in their sales and rental trust accounting in house.

This role is responsible for processes and monitors the processing of the rental trusts’ financial, mid and end of month accounting transactions and property management compliance management. Examines, analyses, and reconciles accounting, financial records as well as documents such as bank statements, expenditures

This role ensures accuracy and compliance with the company, government and granting agency guidelines, which includes accounting, reporting and procedures. Performs various administrative tasks according to the needs of the business.   

About the role

• General ledger and bank reconciliation
• Invoicing of sales commissions, VPA, etc
• Fortnightly payroll and commissions
• Sales trust account: reconciliation and disbursements
• Liaise with external accountants and auditors
• General admin and bookkeeping responsibilities
• EOM, bank reconciliations, management reports
• Manage administration tasks
• Processing owner and creditor payments
• Liaise with outside bookkeeper

Skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience in rental accounts management
• Polite, articulate, professional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in using a variety of software programs and working with database management systems
• A team player that can also work independently 
• High attention to detail 
• Proactive and forward think
