School Cleaners

Position: School Cleaners – 3 positions (1 as Supervisor)

Location: Mount Ousley

Type: Part-Time – 20.0 Hours per week

Salary: Competitive, award based

Start Date: July 2024

We are looking for a few dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as School Cleaners.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the school.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Replenish supplies in toilets and other areas as needed.
• Properly dispose of garbage and recycling.
• Close up and lock premises daily.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the school administration.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving cleaning equipment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Clear current Working With Children check (Employee)
