Senior Financial Accountant | Part-Time | Temp

The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a dynamic ASX listed business in Melbourne CBD on a 3-month temporary part-time contract (3 days per week).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation with a global footprint in their industry. You will work closely with a talented and approachable CFO, playing a pivotal role to deliver key financial reporting activities.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, your duties will be varied to include:

• Ensuring accuracy of the general ledgers with adherence to international reporting standards.
• Month-end reporting, including profit & loss, balance sheet, sales reporting, cash reports, and stock reports.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to track financial performance.
• Facilitate the company's VAT, GST & BAS obligations.
• Assist with external audit
• Assist with foreign currency management.
• Assist in preparing company tax returns

Your Profile

• You will be CA/CPA qualified with previous experience in ASX Financial Reporting, Australian and International Tax Calculations and Reporting; and US GAAP Financial Reporting
• You will need to be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
• You will need to be able to commence mid-late June 2026.
