Senior System and Integration Test Analyst - NV1 security clearance - Canberra

We are seeking an experienced Senior System and Integration Test Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing methods, particularly in large-scale systems, and will be well-versed in various testing principles and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct system and integration testing for large-scale systems using manual testing methods.
• Develop, review, and execute complex test cases.
• Apply testing principles including Test Phases, Test Reporting, Test Traceability, Defect Triage, and the Defect Management Lifecycle.
• Utilize SQL and tools such as SQL Visual Studio to query databases effectively.
• Prioritize testing efforts, execute test cases, and track and report the resolution of defects/issues.
• Test APIs using Postman or similar tools, with the ability to read and understand Swagger files (YAML) or similar.
• Collaborate within an Agile software development environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team, using DevOps toolsets.
• Work from the Canberra offices at least three days per week.
• Adapt to new ways of thinking about accessibility and demonstrate enthusiasm for accessible design and development.
• Operate within secure government systems and a complex global ICT environment.
• Utilize project management systems, tools, and processes in both Agile and Waterfall environments (DevOps, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project).

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in system and integration testing of large-scale systems using manual testing methods.
• Demonstrated understanding of testing principles and the ability to write, review, and execute complex test cases.
• Proficiency in SQL and database querying using tools such as SQL Visual Studio.
• Experience in prioritizing testing efforts, test case execution, and defect management.
• Knowledge and experience in testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment using DevOps toolsets.
• Must be Canberra-based and available to work from the Canberra offices at least three days per week.
• Experience in working with secure government systems and in a complex global ICT environment.
• Australian Citizen with NV1 security clearance.

Preferred:

• Experience with project management systems and tools such as DevOps, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with accessible design and development.
