Shipping Coordinator - Urgent Role - Part-Time

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the shipping process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to our customers. This role will involve coordinating with multiple departments, managing inventory, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving any shipping-related issues. The Shipping Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and optimizing our shipping operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the domestic & international shipment process from start to finish, including coordinating with logistics partners and carriers to ensure timely delivery.
2. Verify and ensure the accuracy of customer addresses to prevent delivery errors.
3. Oversee packaging operations, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring products are packed securely and efficiently.
4. Maintain inventory of packaging materials and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
5. Act as the primary point of contact for addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to shipping and delivery.
6. Resolve any delivery issues, such as delays, damaged packages, or missing items, in a prompt and professional manner.
7. Collaborate closely with the sales team to communicate shipping updates, address customer requests, and coordinate special delivery arrangements.
8. Assist in other administrative tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role, preferably in a shipping or logistics environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using shipping and inventory management software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure while resolving shipping-related issues and meeting tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations, carriers, and best practices is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in logistics or supply chain management is advantageous.
