STORES PERSON / PURCHASING ASSISTANT

 Part Time Role (approx. 20 hours per week)

 Adelaide Hills Location 

 Long Established Metal Fabrication Business 

Steriline Racing designs and builds a wide range of high-quality metal fabricated products for local and export markets. A small manufacturing metal fabrication business located in Mount Barker in the Adelaide Hills.

We have an opportunity for an experienced stores person to join our team.

Reporting to the Coordinator Operations, your role will include: 

• Receiving deliveries and storing materials in allocated locations.
• Picking and packing parts in preparation for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading of goods from transport vehicles.
• Management of stores area including optimizing layout with clear and correct identification of parts.
• Arranging goods inwards and outwards freight as directed.
• Assisting with procurement activities including liaising with suppliers for quotes and order placement.
• Assist with inventory management to maintain accurate stock holding.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy work environment.

Experience required for the role: 

• Current valid South Australian forklift license and driver’s license.
• Experience working in a warehousing environment.
• Computer skills with Microsoft office.
• Exceptional attention to detail and initiative.
• Experience in manufacturing industry and understanding drawings advantageous (not essential).
