About the role

We are looking for an experienced Student Services Coordinator or Executive Assistant to oversee our Student Services team and provide executive assistance to the Head of Secondary School and Head of Primary School. This role requires an incumbent who is flexible, adaptable, calm under pressure and shows initiative to meet the requirements of Executive staff and the Student Services team. 

Duties

As a Student Services Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide executive assistance to the Head of Secondary School and Head of Primary School including managing and prioritising appointments, emails, and calendar commitments.
  • Provide excellent customer service to parents/guardians, external bodies, staff and students.
  • Effectively manage parent and staff queries and expectations.
  • Oversee and coordinate the Student Service team’s administrative duties and workflow.
  • Oversee and assist with the management of staff absences and supply staff. 

Skills, experience and attributes required

  • Experience in a similar role within an independent school environment is highly desirable.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and milestones with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to always maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work as an effective team member and to work independently. 
  • Possession of or the ability to acquire a current Working With Children Check (Paid Blue Card) 
  • Valid drivers licence.
