Job Description - TAS Teacher

  • Stage 4 Technology (mandatory) Textiles/Agriculture/Food
  • Term 3 & 4 (potential for ongoing) Part time (0.37 FTE)

Welcome to Abbotsleigh, a pre-kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican day and boarding school for girls located in Wahroonga, on Sydney’s North Shore.

The Role

Abbotsleigh has a wonderful opportunity for an engaging and highly motivated TAS teacher to join our dynamic TAS department for Term 3 & 4 2024 (potential for ongoing). The successful candidate will be an educator who is highly motivated to support Abbotsleigh to maintain and develop learning and innovation, ensure continued academic achievement, and inspire, engage, and value every girl. You will be part of a department that is well-resourced, and a team that is always happy to give you a hand and help guide and support you. We encourage all applicants to apply regardless of their level of teaching experience.

The Duties

Stage 4 Technology (mandatory) Teacher

  • 1 x class of Textiles Focus 
  • 1 x class of Agriculture/Food Focus  

The lessons occur 

Week A: 

Tuesday Period 2 

Wednesday Period 1 

Thursday Period 1 

Friday Period 1 

Week B: 

Monday Period 1 and 2 

Wednesday Period 3 

Thursday Period 4 

* hoodies and gaming are planned for term 3
