Woodlupine Primary School (PS) are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year.

We are seeking teachers who pursue excellence in teaching, have high expectations, and who truly believe that all students can learn and be successful. Suitable applicants should be committed to putting students first in their decision-making and provide purposeful and relevant learning experiences that cater for differentiated student learning needs as outlined in the Western Australian Curriculum.

We are looking for effective teachers who have a commitment to supporting a whole school approach and systemic priorities, in the planning and delivery of motivating and quality learning activities for all students. We are seeking teachers who believe that exemplary evidence-based teaching practices and differentiation content, leads to successful students and high standards of achievement.

At Woodlupine PS, we are committed to creating a learning environment that produces well rounded citizens and have built a have built a strong relational culture. We use a restorative approach and promote positive behaviour and classroom management, developing students who are creative, responsible and curious citizens.

We are seeking teachers with excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve the best educational outcomes for our students. These qualities underpin the professional and positive working relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community and build a strong relational culture.

Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.

To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the ):

  • Professional knowledge;
  • Professional practice; and
  • Professional engagement.

  • complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement; and
  • complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
  • The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
