Job Description

  • Based in Ringwood, on the lands of the Wurundjeri People
  • Part-time, Monday-Thursday 0.8 FTE
  • 11.5% Super + General Salary Packaging Benefits of up to $18,550

The Community Health Paediatric and Counselling (CHPACS) program is part of Each's Primary Care program stream. It provides a broad range of services to assist families who live in Knox and Maroondah Local Government areas. The Community Health Counselling Team operates as part of the program and includes Counsellor, Socials Workers, Art Therapists and a Psychologist. The program also include the Parent Child Mother Goose program and another smaller health navigation program. The Team Leader will be responsible for service delivery and to assist the team to provide Counselling and interventions for adults, families and children in Knox and Maroondah LGA’s.

Are you a passionate leader ready to drive meaningful change in the community health sector? We're seeking an experienced Team Lead to guide our Counselling team in delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

As a key leader, you will:

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of dedicated professionals
  • Oversee service delivery, quality assurance, and performance monitoring
  • Lead service improvements and stakeholder engagement to enhance client outcomes
  • Deliver trauma-informed, culturally inclusive therapeutic interventions to individuals and families
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and best-practice standards

Who we’re looking for

  • Strong leadership and clinical supervision experience
  • Proven ability to coordinate and develop clinical systems
  • Expertise in evidence-based therapies and risk management
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and eligibility for professional registration (AHPRA, AASW, ACA, or PACFA)

What will make you stand out?

Qualifications in Mental Health Social Work or Psychology would be well regarded, as would experience working within a multi-disciplinary team.

You will apply your clinical experience and skills to manage and assess risk assessment/ respond and collaborate effectively with the wider teams across our sites and within the program.
