About the Role


Are you passionate about travel and adept at problem-solving? Do you thrive in a dynamic tech environment? This role is a dynamic mix of technology and customer service. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a technical support environment and enjoys helping people solve problems using cutting-edge travel technology.


As a Technology Specialist at Spencer Corporate Travel, you'll be the go-to expert for our online booking tool, Serko/Zeno, as well as the understanding and implementation of all of the Spencer Suite technologies. This role combines customer service skills with technical knowledge to assist clients with troubleshooting, system usage, and optimizing the performance of travel platforms such as booking systems, payment gateways, and other travel-related software.  You'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and efficient travel experiences for our valued corporate clients.


The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of Serko/Zeno, Sabre, Tramada, Compleat and Conferma or similar technologies, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, administrative and organizational skills and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Onboarding New Clients, by assisting in profile setup, data entry, and ensuring smooth implementation

  • Master Serko/Zeno, customizing the platform to meet client needs and resolving booking issues.

  • Assist with implementing our other Spencer Suite Technologies

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, promptly addressing inquiries via phone, email, or online chat.

  • Support the Sales team by generating customized reports for client insights.

  • Ensure all bookings comply with client policies and Zeno guidelines.

  • Manage client requests efficiently, keeping them informed of any delays and exceeding expectations.

  • Work closely with the internal teams that provide first level support by training and developing skills.

  • Monitor system performance and ensure that all travel technology platforms are running smoothly and efficiently.

  • Report technical issues to development teams for resolution and follow up with customers on the progress of issue resolution


 


What You Bring



  • Comprehensive knowledge of Serko/Zeno, Sabre, Tramada, Compleat and Conferma including both front-end and back-end functionalities.

  • Experience in travel consultancy, preferably in a corporate setting.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Quick learning attitude and a desire to stay updated with industry trends.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.

  • Understanding of corporate travel policies and procedures.

  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency with Microsoft applications.
