Vet Nurse - Greencross Tuggeranong

Our nurses are an important part of the team and offer valuable support to our vets by:

• Conducting nurse consults (post op checks, arthritis injections, admits and discharges)
• Assist in TBC consulting
• Performing pathology work
• Reception and admin duties
• Catheterisation and blood collection
• Being confident in all aspects of surgical and medical nursing as well as dentistry

Greencross Tuggeranong is a busy, fast-paced clinic - and we’d love to welcome a new nurse to our team, which currently includes 4 vets (2 FT, 2 PT) and a fantastic nursing team (9 nurses when we're fully staffed)!

About Us:

• 4 consult rooms
• Dedicated treatment room and surgery
• In-house lab and pharmacy
• Separate cat and dog wards + isolation area

• Comprehensive monitoring equipment

About You:

• Minimum 2 years' nursing experience
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a love for great patient care
• A good sense of humour — we work hard and have fun!
• High standards, attention to detail, and great communication skills
• A reliable team player who thrives in a busy environment
