General Characteristics:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for ensuring goods are stored and distributed in an effective and efficient manner, whilst supporting of the company’s premier customer service requirements.

 Representative Activities:

• Pick stock for orders and pack goods for distribution as required
• Dispatch of goods in a timely manner to meet customer expectations
• Confirm and transfer goods as required
• Undertake warehouse receivable processes
• Produce packaging as required
• Act as a Leading Hand when Warehouse Supervisor is away
• Relocate inventory to minimize picking time and to fully utilise storage space
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the department
• Observe safety procedures when using material handling equipment and when storing or retrieving inventory

Qualifications/Education:

• High School Certificate or equivalent
• A current Forklift License is essential

Skills & Attributes:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operation
• Proactive and 'can do' attitude, with a willingness to continually learn and develop
• Solid knowledge of warehousing principles, including warehousing safety and safe work practices
• Good time management skills, along with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to develop detailed knowledge of product range
• A high degree of initiative and strong work ethic
• A friendly and positive outlook with a willingness to support and assist colleagues whenever necessary
