Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately picking items from warehouse, based on order specifications and packing them securely to prevent damage during transit; 
• Safely unloading merchandise from delivery trucks and containers, inspecting items for damage or discrepancies upon arrival; 
• Keeping accurate records of all inventory received and dispatched, conducting regular stock counts, and reporting discrepancies; 
• Strategically organising and storing merchandise to maximise warehouse space and ensuring items are stored in designated areas for easy retrieval; 
• Operating forklifts, hand carts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely, and performing routine maintenance checks on equipment (where sufficiently training has been provided) 
• Processing distribution orders efficiently, including retrieving, packing, and labelling merchandise, and ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time; 
• Operating print machine for customised orders; (Training will be provided).
• Inspecting merchandise for quality, damages, and discrepancies, and reporting and documenting any issues found during inspections; 
• Adhering to all warehouse safety protocols and guidelines, and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required; 
• Coordinating with suppliers, distributors, and team members to resolve shipment or delivery issues, and keeping management informed of any operational challenges or improvements needed; 
• Performing basic cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and organised warehouse, and ensuring work areas are free from hazards and obstacles; 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or currently studying;  
• A valid forklift license (preferred but not required); 
• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment; 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management software; 
• Ability to safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment; 
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects; 
• Ability to stand for extended periods; 
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills; 
• Effective communication skills; and 
• Detail-oriented;
