An opportunity is available for a part-time WHS Advisor to support workplace health and safety across a community-based healthcare service on the Mornington Peninsula.
About the role

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will lead WHS initiatives, injury management and compliance within a hospital environment, helping to drive a strong and proactive safety culture across the organisation.

Reponsibilities:
* Lead WHS Committee and promote a proactive safety culture
* Investigate incidents, hazards and risks and implement controls
* Manage WorkCover claims and support return-to-work plans
* Monitor WHS performance and report safety metrics
* Develop manual handling injury prevention strategies
* Support leaders with WHS advice, policies and compliance

Skills & Requirements

* Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or similar)
* Experience in WHS advisory or safety role preferred
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance
