About CLO
Community Living Options (CLO) is a leading NDIS registered disability service provider. We are a values-focused organisation, who put the people we support first. Established in 1982 by a group of local parents who wanted respite and accommodation for their children, we have expanded exponentially because our participants love our services.
CLO prides itself on being an equal employment opportunity employer. We encourage applications from all background, ages, and gender as well as people who identify as First Peoples, LGBTIQ+ and people with a disability.
About Us
We’re a vibrant home in Seaford looking for an experienced and passionate Youth Worker who shares our love for video gaming, outdoor adventures, and creativity. Our goal is to build independence, confidence, and strong connections while having fun and feeling safe.
The Role
As a Youth Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young people to live their best lives. This means creating opportunities for growth, encouraging independence, and helping us to feel safe and respected. You’ll work within a therapeutic, child-centred approach and listen carefully to our needs, thinking creatively, and engaging in play and activities that make learning enjoyable.
You’ll be a positive role model who can teach life skills, build confidence, and support community engagement. When we feel anxious or overwhelmed, you’ll remain calm, provide reassurance, and help us make sense of our feelings. Your ability to set clear boundaries and guide us through challenges will help us feel secure and supported.
We love going to the beach, visiting museums, riding scooters, playing with Lego, Pokémon, and exploring video game trivia and history. If you share these interests and want to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
About You
You’re energetic, positive, and passionate about empowering young people. You bring patience, creativity and a calm approach to challenging situations. You understand trauma-informed care and can respond to behaviours with empathy and respect. Most importantly, you’re committed to building strong relationships and helping us develop skills for life.
