Opportunity:


HCA are currently seeking a talented Receptionist/Administrator who has a genuine interest and passion for a dynamic working career. This will be a permanent full-time role at our Perth (Forrestdale) office. You will be required to work Wednesday - Friday 9-5pm

Acting as an integral part of the Administration team, This role will have you providing end to end administrative support and will be best suited to a personable professional who enjoys being the welcoming face of the Western region.


Reporting to the Administration Manager some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Greeting customers, visitors and contractors in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Ensure Reception entrance and front of house is neat and tidy at all times.
  • Receiving and directing incoming phone calls and email enquires. Interpreting customer queries and understanding needs to ensure Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction is successfully delivered in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining and Monitoring our visitor Rapid Global system.
  • Assisting accounts maintaining customer payment systems and in house databases through timely and accurate data entry.
  • Managing use and bookings of office facilities and coordinating meeting schedules for internal and external users.
  • Managing stationery and consumables, Mail and parcel disbursement and uniform ordering.
  • Providing quality administrative services to support branch operations in true Hitachi Spirit.
  • Ensuring and monitoring compliance in house to WHS Policies and Procedures and organising safety inductions.
  • Ad-hoc branch administrative duties as requested.

To be successful you will need:

  • Availability to work 9am-5pm Wednesday - Friday. (Monday & Tuesday availability also would be advantageous but is not essential for leave coverage)
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar office support role (exposure to accounts would be advantageous but is not essential)
  • A helpful and friendly attitude is essential as you will be based front of house and often be the first point of contact for multiple departments.
  • The initiative and ability to multi-task and coordinate comprehensive office support efficiently and effectively.
  • A positive can-do attitude and the ability to take initiative and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and level of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated MS Office experience, including Word and Excel (Intermediate level)
  • Dynamics 365 experience is preferred but not essential.
