Business Development Associate

Job Description:

Commercial Metals, a leading company in the steel and metal industry, is seeking a part-time Business Development Associate to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria. The Business Development Associate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and driving growth for the company.

Responsibilities: - Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers - Create and present business proposals to potential clients - Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for acquiring new business - Analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities - Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies - Attend industry events and conferences to network and expand the company's reach - Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development or sales - Strong analytical and research skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Dedicated and reliable work ethic - Willingness to travel as needed - Experience in the steel or metal industry is a plus
