Financial Management Analyst (f/m/d)

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is one of four employees responsible for budget preparation and execution for funding for the U.S. Tri-Mission in Vienna (U.S. Mission to Austria, U.S. Mission to the OSCE, and U.S. Mission to International Organizations). In addition, the incumbent will independently perform a range of financial management services including financial planning, accounting, data analysis, and reporting. They will provide advisory services related to financial issues, ensure correct and proper use of U.S. Government funds, and work with stakeholders to resolve accounting system problems, correct EFT payment rejections, and update vendor records.

Qualifications and competencies we seek:

We are looking for a quick learner with good interpersonal, data analysis, and problem-solving skills who has:

• A successful completion of upper secondary schooling in business studies/commercial school (e.g. HAK Matura),
• A minimum of 3 years of progressively more responsible work of program, technical, administrative, and financial nature, including at least 2 years in accounting and budgeting,
• Advanced computer skills, including MS Office, specifically in Excel, budget modules, statistics, presentation of reports, etc.,
• and fluency in English and German.
