Application Engineer Battery Test Systems f/m/d

As an Application Engineer for Battery Test Systems, you will work on state-of-the-art battery test systems and play a key role in the design and implementation of customer requirements. Your expertise in software automation and your direct collaboration with customers make this position particularly exciting. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Application development for test systems from battery cells to battery packs in independent customer and development projects
• Support and troubleshooting in complex systems at customer sites
• Development of SW standard applications according to requirements
• Support in the creation and review of proposals for the standardization of system architectures
• Collaboration in the creation of system and product specifications
• Support with application knowledge for sales and service activities
• Conducting training courses for internal and external participants

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed education (FH/TU/HTL) with a focus on electrical engineering, automation technology, communication technology or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of automation of test runs in laboratories (preferably for battery tests)
• Experience with test procedures with a focus on Li-lon batteries
• Good programming and IT skills (Visual Basic, C#, communication protocols)
• Systematic and analytical way of working paired with good comprehension and system understanding 
• High customer and application orientation
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (worldwide, current focus: Germany)
• Very good knowledge of German and English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €51,800.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
