Position Type Non-Management Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, ARABELLA HOSPITALITY GROUP GMBH & CO. KG. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. JOB SUMMARY
• The sale, organization and handling of events for our 12 conference rooms and 143 rooms at the Arabella Jagdhof
• Handling all processes from customer inquiries, quotation preparation, contract design and detailed arrangements to invoicing
• Monitoring, ensuring, quality control and professional handling of a smooth event process for our guests
• Communication and coordination with all internal departments involved (F&B, etc.) and external service providers
• The presentation of the Arabella Jagdhof during house tours
• Daily use and maintenance of the hotel's internal system "Opera"
• Supporting our Sales, Event & Marketing team with various projects JOB REQUIREMENTS
• You have completed vocational training in the hotel industry and already have some experience in active event sales
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
• It is an advantage if you have already gained experience with the common hotel reservation systems
• You work in a customer and service-oriented manner and with a high level of commitment and a sense of responsibility
• Excellent manners and a very well-groomed appearance are a matter of course for you
• You are characterized by a strong team spirit with friendly manners as well as a high level of quality awareness and reliability
