Working Student with focus on Data Engineering f/m/d

By supporting us with innovative projects, you will work in various areas such as after-sales, predictive analytics, ADAS validation and verification as well as the development of battery electric and fuel cell systems.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will collaborate with data scientist, data engineers and domain experts to define and set up analytics environments for data analytics applications.
• Your tasks will also include assisting with statistical modeling and (machine) learning techniques to optimize processes and support engineering decisions.
• Your support will also be needed in the implementing of ETL-processes (Extract, Transform, Load) and the development of large-scale data processing engines using time series data.
• Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to the research and development as well as the continuous improvement of leading technologies and methodologies in the field of Data Engineering.
• You will work together with data scientists to develop on-premise, hybrid, and cloud solution architectures.
• You will have the chance to work on various database technologies (SQL/OLAP and Non-SQL databases) and cloud technologies (such as Azure, AWS or GCP).

YOUR PROFILE:

• You are currently actively studying with a focus on software engineering, computer science, informatics, telematics, mathematics, statistics or similar.
• You are particularly proud of your experience with Python, especially with PyData (Pandas, Numpy).
• You already have experience with Linux and scripting languages such as Bash scripts.
• Due to your study, you have knowledge in the application of data science methods.
• On top of that, you have a good command of written and spoken English.

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €38,980.06. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
