Job Summary

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Prepare payable entries daily and process vendor weekly payments (check and electronic payments).
• Maintain aging AP & AR reports and reconciliation of third parties and intercompany payable transactions.
• Check daily cash balance.
• Ensure all billing invoices are posted accurately in SAP.
• Prepare revenue related entries in SAP.
• Complete daily bank reconciliations and download monthly bank statements.
• Resolve outstanding vendor accounts and items.
• Collaborate with an AP email inbox administrator to meet time sensitive deadlines.
• Administer Accounts Receivable email inbox and meet time sensitive deadlines.
• Prepare credit card journal entries.
• Assist with weekly cash management meetings.
• Collaborate with the Project Management team for vendor credit checks as needed.
• Support & assist with the issuance of annual 1099s, sales tax filings, property tax filings.
• Assist with Workman's Comp and General Liability Audits.
• Maintain and organize supporting documents for year-end audits.
• Ad hoc projects and or assignments as needed for Company.

Education and Experience:

• Two- or four-year degree in accounting and or finance.
• Equivalent working experience can be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Experience working in SAP S4/Hana is preferred but not required

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A high degree of accuracy with great attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to calculate and manage accounting figures and data
• Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Basic intercompany accounting principles (preferred but not required)
• Understanding of complex company structures
• Works collaboratively with other departments

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.  Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
