Field of activity

• Independently draw analogue layouts at block and module level in various technologies
• Understand and follow specifications and layout guidelines
• Following the entire layout flow with floor planning, PCell handling, signal and power routing
• Carrying out layout checks, e.g. DRC & LVS
• Interpreting errors and developing solutions
• Coordination with design and layout managers

Requirements profile

• Higher technical education (e.g. university, university of applied sciences) in the field of electronics, mechatronics, computer science, technical physics or similar
• Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of the Cadence Layout XL layout environment
• Knowledge of integrated circuits, component physics and advanced process technologies is an advantage
• Ideally, the candidate understands the concept of customised components and knows how to lay them out
• Good command of written and spoken English
