For an international Food Ingredients Distributor we are looking for the

Country Manager Austria m/f/d, s/he acts also as Geschäftsführer In Austria

This is a B2B not a FMCG Job

  • Products are value-added products from well-known suppliers
  • you are in charge of a team of around 13: Technical Sales Managers and Back office staff
  • home office based, with a continuous presence in the head office in Austria,

Tasks

  • Team Leading experience
  • Master's Degree in Food Technology

  • Exceptional good communication, negotiation and analytical skills,

  • highly organized, reliable, positive thinking
  • Very good English and German proficiency (fluent in oral and writing)
  • High level of Technical product knowledge in the Food industry;
  • Strong experience in sales management in highly competitive markets;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German.

  • Self-starter – passionate about achieving goals and targets;
  • Takes initiative and is able to work in an independent way
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements;
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills;

  • Able to manage a portfolio of various projects at the same time; Strong communication skills

Requirements

Requirements as the Country Manager

  • Annual Budget process
  • Lead and Control Business processes within the company
  • Financial control
  • Develop/define country Business plan, set challenging Sales and Marketing targets and objectives for Technical Sales Managers, and other employees in the Country team;
  • Accountable for maintaining current business and accurate business forecasting taking into consideration in-depth market analysis, including market size, pricing, competitive market landscape, legal and economic environment, and developing strategies to improve sales, decrease cost levels, and increase market share for all products;
  • Responsible for new business development, increase profitability and performance;
  • Efficiently promote technical product ranges to the food industry;
  • Ensure the highest level of service to the Customers;
  • Coach and motivate Country team;
  • Set and communicate targets and objectives for each team member in consultation with Technical Sales Managers and Category Managers;
  • Monitor progression of results on an individual and team level; evaluate individual and team results versus targets, provide constructive feedback, intervene whenever appropriate to ensure expectations/targets/competency levels are met, manage conflict in an adequate and constructive way;
  • Schedule and lead Country meetings to provide team members with business information, changes to business plan, policies, organizational changes, discuss new products and market trends, business activity;
  • Ensure training of employees on our mission, products and services, tools and processes;
  • Report all market, accounts, and competitive information and trends in a complete
  • Immediately and accurately report all negative customer or product related events, e.g. customer feedback or legal issues, risks, etc.
  • Propagate product & quality safety culture policy within the company.

depending of the experience s/he can be additonal responsible for other Countries as Regional Area Manager (here s/he would be in charge for a team of Country Managers

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries.
