Arbeitsbeschreibung - Business Development/Channel Sales Manager:in (M/W/D)

As a Business Development/Channel Sales Manager, you are responsible for establishing and maintaining sales partnerships with smaller IT companies, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and system integrators. You will play a key role in driving the growth of our new business line and advancing our sales strategy.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Managing the central point of contact for all customer care issues 
  • Defining the multi-year customer strategy in close collaboration with other teams (technology, monetisation, finance)
  • Identifying and influencing relevant stakeholders (internal and external) for the client's development 
  • Negotiating contracts and managing the progress of technical documentation (scope of work)
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions in line with customer needs and objectives and internal roadmap requirements
  • Understanding market trends and developing new business with existing customers and/or identifying areas for improvement
  • Forecast and track key customer metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) with the corresponding customer reports (on a weekly basis)
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow business opportunities within the territory
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or equivalent role
  • Proven ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, PipeDrive CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in providing customer-centric solutions for customer needs
  • Data-driven mentality
  • Proven ability to handle multiple account management projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills (including VC tools)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills: English + German 
  • BA/BS degree in business administration, sales or relevant field preferred 
  • Professional background in an ISP, MNO or carrier preferred
  • Communication with executives, commitment and influence
  • Always think customer orientated

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 4.346,00 gross/month (ST2/‘Regelstufe’) based on full-time employment. Of course, there is a willingness to overpay in line with the market depending on qualifications and professional experience.
