Creating, developing and implementing product group and supplier strategies in the field of mechanical, electrical and electronics components. This includes that you have a market knowledge and can apply it confidently in the market
Aligning Category Strategy with Project Team, Supply Chain and business requirements
Leading supplier relationship management
Optimizing the supply base
Screening  categories to identify cost -out initiatives
Conducting price and contracts negotiations also involving stakeholders appropriately in the contract process
Initiating and leading complex, company-wide projects and bring in your profound project management skills (risk management, application of financial models, prove high level of company integration, etc.) e.g., cost optimization projects
Performing and maintaining purchasing reporting for the material groupBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or advanced business degree in Business/Supply Chain preferred
5 years of proven experience as category manager or similar role
Fundamental market knowledge
Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
Project management skills (supply chain projects, risk-management, supply chain tools and finance models)
Great negotiations skills
Fluent business English (C1/C2)
Good skills in the typical MS Office tools
Technically and commercially experienced personality with entrepreneurial thinking
