Chief Technology Officer (m/w/d)

​enspired is looking for a results-driven Chief Technology Officer (m/f/d) who ensures that their technology stack is future-proof, scalable and reliable to achieve their strategic goals. In this role you will be the head of their Software Development Teams.

As their Chief Technology Officer, you

• ensure platform reliability and security:
  you uphold their high software quality standards by taking ownership of maintaining a robust, secure, and high-quality platform. 
• maximize operational efficiency through automation: 
  you champion automation to reduce repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency, enabling the team to focus on high-value activities, 
• drive efficient use of development resources: 
  you ensure the effective utilization of development teams, maintain a consistently updated and well-communicated product and technology roadmap, while fostering a positive engineering culture.
• execute technology strategy to achieve business goals:
  you guarantee technology initiatives are implemented effectively to meet the strategic objectives, driving measurable progress and tangible outcomes,
• build a culture of excellence: 
  you foster a team culture that values innovation, ownership and growth, guiding developers to excel and setting the stage for exceptional results,
• deliver ambitious goals with precision and urgency: 
  you translate the priorities of the business into technology, ensuring enspired can achieve its growth objectives. By keeping the bigger picture in mind, you align the team with market demands and organizational priorities. Your leadership inspires the team to navigate complexity and deliver results that may seem unattainable.

You want to actively participate in the transition to clean energy and you

• bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related role, with a strong advantage in sectors such as energy, financial or commodity trading, 
• have led a team of experts before, 
• have proven experience in 24/7 low latency architectures is highly beneficial, 
• demonstrate a proven ability to challenge the status quo, drive technological improvements and address underperformance while managing resources effectively, 
• showcase a track record of executing technology strategies that align with business objectives and foster growth and scalability. 
• communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, promoting collaboration between technical and non-technical teams,
• are based in or near Vienna, or open to relocate,
• are fluent in both German and English, 
• are a curious person with a good sense of humor.
