Job Description

As a team member in the embedded software team you will: 

• Drive/Support integration of BLE Controller firmware integration with third party vendors 
• Drive/Support integration of ESL Service to third party access points 
• Verify BLE controller firmware with respect to Bluetooth 5.4 core specification 
• Verify Signal integrity in combination with BLE Host 
• Verify Coexistence under respect of BLE spectrum 
• Verification of communication between cloud and end device from the gateway's/access point’s perspective 
• Research into causes between BLE Host and Controller, especially BLE traffic (HCI and air traffic) 
• Implementation/Support of testing and verification systems 
• Assess products´ readiness, through alpha and beta tests
• Ensure the perfect conditions to test & verify products
• Support installation of alpha and beta tests at R&D
• Ensure documentation and training is delivered and suggest improvements

Qualifications

Experience

• At least 3 years as IOT Application Expert in R&D or similar exceptional work experience in development and/or testing roles. 
• Experience with air/radio sniffers, logic analyzers, log analyzation 

Embedded/IoT:  

• Radio protocols, especially in Bluetooth Low Energy 
• Linux based operating systems

Coding skills:

• C/C++ 
• Python 
• Scripting 

Skills

• Knowledge in Bluetooth Low Energy
• Understanding the Bluetooth Core Specification
• Analytical and combined way of thinking 
• To ensure the satisfaction of stakeholders 
• Support team members and R&D departments 
• Great technical understanding 
• Good analytical thinking skills 
• Interest in computer science 
• Ability to abstract for the modelling of solution concepts 
• Willingness for further training on new technologies, legal aspects 
• Willingness to work irregular hours for troubleshooting 

Education

• University of Applied Sciences or higher technical college (with experience) for telematics, information and computer technology or equivalent training

A minimum basic salary of EUR 3.455 gross per month for full-time employment applies to the advertised position with a willingness to pay depending on the actual
