Engineering Technician 4

Perform testing, check-out, and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, descriptions, layouts, or defined plans. Tests and troubleshoots system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems. Inspect materials, components, or products for surface defects and measure circuitry, using electronic test equipment, precision measuring instruments, microscope, and standard procedures. Conduct operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment help in determining methods to remedy malfunctions. Use test and diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus. Collaborates with development engineers creating, designing, and troubleshooting prototypes and models. Apprenticeship Degree (LAP) or equivalent technical certificate or higher in a technical field. Experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, metrology, lab operations, or related areas. 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience in semiconductor experience is a plus. Firsthand experience with installation, maintenance, repair, testing, or troubleshooting of equipment or electronics. Effective communication skills, written and verbal, in English. Proficient in utilizing computer-based data systems, applications, and Microsoft Office software. Ability to work in a shift schedule.
