Arbeitsbeschreibung - FP&A Analyst


About the role

  • The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial, operational, and marketing data to provide actionable insights, optimize strategies, and drive business growth. This role requires a strong background in financial analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely. The FP&A Analyst will collaborate across departments to support informed decision-making and improve overall financial performance.

What you'll do

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to provide insights into business performance, operational efficiency, and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of business strategies.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Present financial findings and insights to stakeholders, providing recommendations for optimizing strategies and improving ROI.
  • Collaborate with finance, marketing, IT, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in financial reporting.
  • Design and maintain SQL queries and complex financial models to support analysis of business operations.
  • Use statistical analysis and financial data mining techniques to identify patterns, correlations, and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze financial trends and variances to identify opportunities for cost optimization and enhanced profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in financial analysis and forecasting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) role, preferably in a healthcare or subscription-based environment.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and financial data mining techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey financial insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial analysis in healthcare or telehealth is preferred.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in person in Charlotte, NC, five days a week.
  • Must be able to work in a sitting position at a computer for extended periods of time.
