The team of the The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position:

Front of House Agent

As a Front of House Agent, you and our motivated team ensure exceptional service and seamless communication for our international guests. In this rotational role, you will work both at the Front Office and in the Call Center, delivering personalized service across all guest touchpoints.

You are one of the first points of contact for our guests: From the warm welcome and personalized check-in to providing professional assistance over the phone and ensuring a memorable farewell, you create outstanding guest experiences throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the smooth arrival and departure of our guests, including check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience throughout their stay


• Rotation between the Front Office and the Call Center, providing professional and personalized service both in person and over the phone


• Handling incoming internal and external telephone calls, responding to guest inquiries and requests, and ensuring prompt follow-up with the relevant departments


• Providing information about the hotel, its facilities, services, and local attractions


• Receiving couriers and coordinating transport arrangements


• Assisting guests with reservations, wake-up calls, and other requests where applicable


• Ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of the entrance area and the lobby


• Maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction while delivering The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards in every interaction 

Your Qualifications:

• Professional experience in the upscale hotel industry


• Previous experience in Front Office, Guest Services, or hotel telephone operations is an advantage


• Friendliness, flexibility, reliability, and a high degree of responsibility


• Professional communication skills and appearance


• Resilience, teamwork, and flexibility


• Quality awareness


• A gift for paying attention to the smallest details


• Excellent knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written; any additional foreign language is an advantage


• Knowledge of OPERA and MS Office is advantageous


• Ability to multitask and provide outstanding guest service both in person and over the phone

The statutory gross minimum remuneration for this position, based on full-time employment, is € 2.263,00 per month. A higher salary may be offered, depending on your qualifications and experience.
