Your Mission

• As Head of Product Management & Marketing, you will shape the future direction of the MADx portfolio and play a critical role in driving sustainable business growth.
• You will lead Product Management and Marketing, ensuring that customer needs, market opportunities, scientific innovation, and commercial objectives are translated into a winning portfolio and go-to-market strategy.
• As a senior leader, you will influence key business decisions, guide cross-functional collaboration, and ensure successful execution from portfolio planning through market adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global product portfolio and marketing strategy in alignment with the company's growth objectives.
• Lead and develop the Product Management and Marketing teams, fostering a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
• Define portfolio priorities, lifecycle strategies, and long-term product roadmaps.
• Drive strategic portfolio decisions based on scientific developments, market trends, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and business performance.
• Own global product launch strategies and ensure successful commercialization of new products and services.
• Own product- and portfolio-related messaging, positioning, and value propositions, translating them into effective campaigns and go-to-market activities.
• Partner closely with R&D to shape the scientific product development pipeline, translating market and customer needs into clear product requirements and owning the product concept through to market launch.
• Partner closely with Sales, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Executive Leadership to align scientific innovation, market needs, and commercial priorities.
• Act as the executive owner for market intelligence, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis as the basis for portfolio and commercial decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, industry experts, and Key Opinion Leaders in the scientific and clinical community.
• Represent the voice of the customer and the market in strategic business and product development decisions.
• Oversee execution of lifecycle and portfolio decisions, including product performance monitoring, phase-out decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive business performance through data-driven decision-making, KPI management, and strategic portfolio reviews.
• Manage departmental resources, budgets, and strategic priorities while ensuring organizational effectiveness and scalability.

Your Profile

• University degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Natural Sciences, or a related scientific discipline; an additional business qualification (e.g. MBA) is an advantage.
• Extensive leadership experience in Product Management, Marketing, Product Strategy, or a comparable senior commercial role within Diagnostics, MedTech, Life Sciences, or Healthcare.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving organizational development.
• Demonstrated success in portfolio management, product launches, commercialization, marketing, and growth strategy execution.
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities combined with a deep understanding of scientific, customer, and market dynamics, and the ability to translate complex scientific content into compelling value propositions.
• Experience translating market and customer needs into scientific product development requirements in close collaboration with R&D.
• Experience operating successfully in complex international and cross-functional environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to influence decisions at senior leadership level and align diverse stakeholders around a common vision.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution capabilities and a hands-on approach.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
