The team of the The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position:

Hotel Cleanliness Expert / Public Area Attendant

Key Responsibilities: 

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas including lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces


• Clean, polish, and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, furniture, and high-touch areas to luxury hotel standards


• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and perform floor care duties in public spaces


• Remove waste, replace liners, and ensure all public bins are clean and well-maintained


• Restock public area supplies (e.g., guest amenities, toiletries, towels, and refreshments where applicable)


• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages promptly to ensure guest safety and comfort


• Support guest needs in public areas with a courteous, discreet, and professional approach


• Ensure all areas are consistently tidy, organized, and aligned with brand presentation standards

Your Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards


• Warm, service-oriented attitude with a professional and discreet demeanor


• Resilience, teamwork, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced luxury environment


• Well-groomed, polished, and professional appearance


• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of consistency


• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in hotels or hospitality (preferred)

The statutory gross minimum remuneration for this position, based on full-time employment, is € 2.026,00 per month. A higher salary may be offered, depending on your qualifications and experience.
