About the job
As an Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance (IA, R&C) Specialist you will report directly to the Head of IA, R&C Europe, CIS & Türkiye and Corporate. In this highly visible role you will lead IA, R&C assignments across a range of business units and processes. By reviewing existing practices, you will enhance the delivery of the company strategy. This role interacts closely with the regional leadership and executive management and substitutes the regional Head of IA, R&C whenever needed. Therefore, you will play a critical role in developing action plans, advising senior management, collaborating with executive leaders to enhance the internal control framework, and providing guidance on compliance and strategic risk matters. This role comes with great potential for further career development within the department or RHI Magnesita. In this role, you will need to travel 25-30% of your working time in Europe.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Planning and executing comprehensive internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, financial processes, and operational procedures as per international Internal Audit standards and best practices
• Identifying control gaps, evaluating risks, and providing recommendations to improve efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify and evaluate potential risks across the organization while monitoring risk indicators and recommending risk mitigation strategies
• Conducting periodic compliance reviews and assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans.
• Responding to compliance-related inquiries and support audits conducted by external parties

What we expect from you in terms of

Education & skills

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, risk management, law or similar
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including report writing and presentation skills
• Understanding of process mining, data analytics - for the future path of internal audit
• Working knowledge of SAP and/or S/4 HANA modules (eg. FI/CO, MM, SD) and understanding of SAP concepts - will be considered an advantage

Languages

• English - Proficient/Fluent
• German - Advanced, would be ideal
• Any other language will be considered an asset

Work experience
* Several years of relevant working experience in an audit firm or in IA, R&C departments of multinational organizations

The annual gross salary for this position will start from EUR 75.000,00 on a full-time basis, depending on your qualification and experience, as well as the amount of overtime and your level of seniority. We will make sure to offer you a competitive salary package that values your relevant background and that's in line with market values.
