IT Innovation Analyst

Are you passionate about emerging technologies and assessing their real-life and business potential? Then join our cross-functional IT Innovation Team to analyze, filter and translate technological trends into impactful activities at Red Bull.

In this role, you will scout startups, market trends and IT vendors worldwide, curate a focused innovation portfolio, and act as an internal consulting partner to both business and IT teams. From running ideation sessions to designing proofs-of-concept, your work will facilitate digital transformation & AI adoption across our global business units.

TECHNOLOGY AND STARTUP SCOUTING

You will monitor and stay ahead of emerging technologies like Generative AI, Web 3.0, Quantum Computing, and Immersive Reality. By identifying and assessing innovative solutions from startups and established vendors, you will uncover opportunities to support IT, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and other departments. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with our network of accelerators and ecosystem partners to keep our organization at the forefront of technological advancements.

CONSULTING AND TARGETED REPORTS

As a trusted advisor, you will act as a filter for new technologies, analyzing their practical, real-world applications. You’ll translate market trends into concise briefings, detailed reports, and tailored presentations for IT and business stakeholders. Through workshop sessions, you’ll consult with colleagues to align innovation priorities and help drive impactful decision-making. To share your knowledge, you’ll create upskilling materials and engaging intranet articles that inspire and inform.

PORTFOLIO AND TREND RADAR

In this role, you will translate industry trends into a structured and prioritized innovation portfolio. You will own and evolve our technology radar, identifying relevant use cases and IT solutions that align with Red Bull’s global operations. Maintaining transparency is key, and you’ll ensure this by managing our internal innovation database. Leveraging Generative AI and smart automations, you’ll also refine and optimize our trend scouting and team processes.

PILOT PROJECTS AND BUSINESS IMPACT

You will take the lead in kick-starting proof-of-concepts and pilot projects, whether developed in-house or in collaboration with external partners. Framing clear hypotheses, defining success criteria, and working cross-functionally, you’ll validate the business value of these initiatives. By capturing, documenting, and sharing insights with key stakeholders, you’ll guide strategic business decisions and demonstrate the tangible impact of innovation.

Proven experience with 4+ years in innovation management, venture analysis, business analytics, digital strategy, IT consulting or similar

Knowledge and interest in technology trends & startup landscapes

Prior exposure to Generative AI or low‑code/no‑code automation tools is a plus

Analytical and research-driven, with the ability to transform noise into clarity

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,471 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
