Junior Infrastructure Engineer (part-time) (f/m/d)

We are a worldwide leading provider of laser beam projection displays that enable tech giants from Silicon Valley to Asia to unlock their next Augmented Reality revolution.

Within our growing team of experts, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of software to drive laser beam scanner systems. The responsibilities also include the creation of a video pipeline on modern host systems utilizing GPU acceleration. Take part in developing and improving the system architecture of current and future laser beam scanner systems. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, applying your expertise to design, implement, and optimize software that powers our state-of-the-art laser scanning solutions.

Tasks

Your responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code and code management with Gitlab.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate test automation for laser scanning products.
• Optimize existing software and develop test methodologies to insure functionality and code quality in an innovative research and development team.
• Design and develop test cases for controlling and driving laser beam scanning systems in Python.
• Create robust and state-of-the-art software using CD/CI.
• Identify and address software-related issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the documentation and training materials for the software components developed.

Requirements

Your qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science and you’re motivated to become a professional with us.
• Focus on IaC is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Git.
• Proficiency in IaC, Docker and Ansible.
• Interest in Embedded Systems.
• Proficiency in Linux and Shell.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
