In 2025, we generated almost $28 billion in sales and we served customers in more than 160 countries.\n\nWe make what matters work.\n\nEATON is hiring a\n\n## Low Voltage System Assembly (LVSA) - Post-Order Engineering Lead (m/f/d)\n\nThis position is based at our manufacturing plant in Schrems, Austria\n\nThe main focus of this position is to lead and develop the electrical and mechanical engineering team to deliver high-quality, standardised, production-ready LVSA designs as well as to ensure on-time IFC release and seamless coordination with manufacturing, testing, and project execution.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n#### Engineering Team Leadership\n\n * Lead, coach, and develop a team of electrical and mechanical engineers\n * Balance workload across projects and build technical capability through mentoring\n * Foster a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement\n\n\n\n#### Engineering Delivery \u0026 Performance\n\n * Ensure timely delivery of schematics, mechanical layouts, and complete EBOM packages\n * Drive on-time IFC release aligned with project milestones\n * Monitor engineering KPIs \u2014 quality, rework, and productivity\n\n\n\n#### Technical Governance \u0026 Quality\n\n * Ensure compliance with IEC standards and internal engineering guidelines\n * Establish and enforce design rules to minimise errors and late changes\n\n\n\n#### Standardisation \u0026 Efficiency\n\n * Develop and maintain reusable design templates, modular components (e.g., feeders, layouts), and engineering standards\n * Drive efficiency through reuse, modularisation, and digital tools\n\n\n\n#### Cross-Functional Collaboration\n\n * Ensure strong alignment with Project/Order Managers, Work Preparation (EBOM \u2192 mBOM readiness), Manufacturing Engineering (DFM), and Production \u0026 Test Engineering\n * Support resolution of technical issues during assembly and FAT\n\n\n\n#### Engineering Change Management\n\n * Oversee customer and internal engineering changes (ECR/ECO), ensuring controlled updates to drawings, BOMs, and documentation with minimal impact on production and schedule\n\n\n\n#### Continuous Improvement\n\n * Analyse engineering issues and feedback from production, FAT, and customers to drive improvements in design quality, manufacturability, and engineering processes\n\n\n\n## Qualifications and skills:\n\n * Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)\n * 5+ years in LV switchgear design engineering within a project-based or industrial manufacturing environment\n * Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams\n * Strong understanding of LVSA architecture, system design, and manufacturing constraints\n * Knowledge of IEC 61439 standards and project execution processes\n * Familiarity with engineering tools (e.g., EPLAN Electric P8) is an advantage\n\n\n\n#### What Sets You Apart\n\n * A technical leader who builds capability \u2014 coaching engineers, not just assigning work\n * Structured, process-driven, and comfortable managing competing priorities\n * A clear communicator who bridges engineering, production, and project management\n * Strong sense of ownership with confident decision-making under pressure\n\n\n\n## What we offer:\n\n * A performance-oriented and attractive remuneration, depending on education, qualifications, and professional experience, of approximately EUR 70,000 gross per year, paid in 14 monthly instalments (overpayment above this amount is possible depending on qualifications and experience)\n * Flexible working solutions\n * Excellent working environment \u2013 safety and ethics are important for us\n * Culture \u0026 Values \u2013 we are more than the products we invent and produce \u2013 the way we do business is just as important.
