In 2025, we generated almost $28 billion in sales and we served customers in more than 160 countries.\n\nWe make what matters work.\n\nEATON is hiring a\n\n## Low Voltage System Assembly (LVSA) - Process Engineer (m/f/d)\n\nThis position is based at our manufacturing plant in Schrems, Austria\n\nEATON is hiring a LVSA Process Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for LVSA products, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality, and scalable production from material preparation through assembly, testing, and delivery.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nManufacturing Process Design \u0026 Industrialization:\n\n * Define and optimize end-to-end manufacturing flow for LVSA: material preparation, mechanical assembly, copper / busbar processing, device mounting, wiring, testing and FAT\n * Develop scalable production concepts moving from panelbuilder style to industrial flow\n * Support introduction of new products / new project types \n\n\n\n \nRouting, Standard Work \u0026 Process Documentation:\n\n * Create and maintain routings, standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions and process parameters\n * Define assembly sequences and standard times\n * Ensure documentation is clear and usable on shopfloor\n\n\n\n \nWorkplace \u0026 Line Design:\n\n * Design efficient workstations for manufacturing process steps\n * Improve ergonomics, safety, and productivity\n * Support line balancing and takt-based flow where applicable\n\n\n\n \nContinuous Improvement / Productivity:\n\n * Identify and eliminate waste, bottlenecks, and non-value-added work\n * Improve labor productivity, lead time, throughput and first-pass yield\n * Lead Kaizen / CI activities\n\n\n\n \nEngineering to Production Interface:\n\n * Work closely with Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Work Preparation\n * Ensure designs are manufacturable (DFM/DFA)\n * Provide feedback on recurring production issues\n\n\n\n \nChange Management \u0026 New Product Introduction:\n\n * Support implementation of engineering changes (ECR/ECO) in production\n * Validate process impact of changes\n * Ensure controlled process updates during ramp-up or serial production\n\n\n\n \nQuality \u0026 Compliance:\n\n * Support process quality controls critical characteristics (CC), special characteristics (SC), torque controls and traceability requirements\n * Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions\n\n\n\n \nCapacity \u0026 Performance Support:\n\n * Define labor standards and process capacities\n * Support production planning with realistic cycle times and constraints\n * Monitor process KPIs and recommend improvements\n\n\n\n## Qualifications and skills:\n\n * Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field\n * 3+ years in manufacturing engineering / process engineering\n * Experience in electromechanical assembly, switchgear, panel building, or complex industrial products preferred\n * Experience with lean manufacturing / continuous improvement preferred\n * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes\n * Ability to read technical drawings and BOMs\n * Knowledge of assembly methods, copper processing, wiring processes\n * Experience with ERP / routing / production systems\n * Understanding of DFM / DFA principles\n * Structured and analytical thinking\n * Hands-on problem solving\n * Strong communication with engineering and shopfloor teams\n * Ownership and drive for results\n * Continuous improvement mindset\n\n\n\n## What we offer:\n\n * Performance-oriented and attractive remuneration, depending on education, qualifications, and professional experience, of approximately EUR 60,000 gross per year, paid in 14 monthly instalments (overpayment above this amount is possible depending on qualifications and experience).\n * Flexible working solutions\n * Excellent working environment \u2013 safety and ethics are important for us\n * Culture \u0026 Values \u2013 we are more than the products we invent and produce \u2013 the way we do business is just as important.
