In 2025, we generated almost $28 billion in sales and we served customers in more than 160 countries.\n\nWe make what matters work.\n\nEATON is hiring a\n\n## Low Voltage System Assembly (LVSA) - Test Engineer (m/f/d)\n\nThis position is based at our manufacturing plant in Schrems, Austria\n\nEATON is hiring a Test Engineer to ensure that all LV switchgear assemblies are fully tested, compliant, and functionally validated before delivery, by planning and leading testing activities and FAT execution.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * Plan and execute all LVSA testing activities\n * Develop and manage FAT procedures\n * Design production test processes\n * Lead FAT with customers and stakeholders\n * Perform functional, protection, and communication testing\n * Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and system issues\n * Ensure compliance with applicable standards\n * Maintain complete and accurate test documentation\n * Support continuous improvement of testing processes\n\n\n\n## Qualifications and skills:\n\n * Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field\n * 3+ years of experience in electrical testing, preferably in LV switchgear, panel building, or system assemby\n * Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems, protection devices, and control circuits\n * Knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC 61439, UL 508A, etc.)\n * Experience with testing equipment and measurement tools\n * Problem-solving and analytical thinking\n * Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams\n\n\n\n## What we offer:\n\n * Performance-oriented and attractive remuneration, depending on education, qualifications, and professional experience, of approximately EUR 60,000 gross per year, paid in 14 monthly instalments (overpayment above this amount is possible depending on qualifications and experience).\n * Flexible working solutions\n * Excellent working environment \u2013 safety and ethics are important for us\n * Culture \u0026 Values \u2013 we are more than the products we invent and produce \u2013 the way we do business is just as important.
