SUMMARY

Responsible for support activities in a GMP manufacturing environment including the maintenance, cleaning, and sterilization of manufacturing equipment, solution preparation according to established procedures, assembly preparation and sterilization, and general production area maintenance. Maintains records, process, and clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements utilizing current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Responsible for proficiency in assigned functional area: Manufacturing Support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepare solutions required for the production process (media and buffer make-up).
• Perform equipment changeover cleaning and sterilization.
• Clean, assemble, and sterilize equipment for production by operating glass washers and autoclaves.
• Sterilize consumable materials to support GMP manufacture.
• Responsible for documentation and maintenance of equipment, such as: documenting new equipment and equipment changes, conducting and documenting PM as required, ensuring proper documentation of equipment repair, etc.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of Production Areas.
• Restock supplies and gowning materials in GMP clean room areas.
• Empty trash in production areas and production support areas.
• Maintain basic production area room inventories.
• Maintain lab coat and personnel gown inventory.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
