## The group you\u2019ll be a part of\n\n \n\nIn the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam\u0027s etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry. \n\n \n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAt Lam, as a Material Program Manager (MPM), you play a pivotal role in driving supply chain success across development and product programs. You coordinate material and sourcing activities in cross\u2011functional teams to ensure cost\u2011effective, scalable, and risk\u2011resilient supply solutions from early development through manufacturing readiness.\n\nActing as a key interface between Engineering, Program Management, and suppliers, you help shape sourcing strategies that support innovation, speed, and ramp readiness as well as long\u2011term operational excellence in Lam\u2019s global supply chain.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Lead material and sourcing activities to support New Product Implementation Programs (NPI), ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and manufacturing readiness targets.\n\n * Define and drive program sourcing strategies and related sub\u2011projects for direct materials, equipment, and services in collaboration with Engineering, Supplier Engineering, Production.\n\n * Perform cost analysis, volume planning, and supply\u2011risk assessments for assigned programs and suppliers. \n\n * Drive cost engineering, cost reduction, and manufacturing ramp readiness from supplier onboarding to serial release.\n\n * Partner closely with suppliers and Quality teams to resolve technical, quality, and manufacturability issues impacting cost, schedule, or scale-up readiness.\n\n * Support commodity and technology-focused sourcing strategies, including market intelligence, supplier technology assessments, pricing trends, and long-term material availability.\n\n * Define, document, and present program sourcing strategies to stakeholders and management, translating technical and commercial inputs into structured program updates (e.g. PowerPoint, program reviews).\n\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field, combined with minimujm 4 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or technical procurement.\n\n * Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,)\n * Communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and German.\n * Deep knowledge or experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems such as Microsoft Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or other procurement related tools.\n * Exceptional interpersonal and influence skills.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Experience in the semiconductor industry or other high-tech industries.\n * Prior experience in supply chain, technical procurement or similar functions.\n * Proven exposure to supplier onboarding, early risk assessment, and cross\u2011functional alignment on specifications and manufacturability.\n\n\n\n\n#### What we\u0027re offering\n\nThis position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group G depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n
