Mechanical Engineer

KISKA is looking for an experienced mechanicalengineer with a background in 3D modelling, assembly, andmanufacturing to join our enterprising team. Apply yourunderstanding of component development to actualise designs andcreate technical drawings and CAD models for a range of projects,from motorcycles to next-gen electric mobility. Provide support andexchange data with internal and external parties to drive KISKA’sdevelopment of innovative solutions. Build up your career within agreat team and work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.Drive projects from initial ideation to first prototyping, and allthe way into mass production. Be the link between idealisticconcepts and grounded reality.TasksCreate components, assemblies,and systems for products. Refine initial ideas and find optimisedmechanical solutions. Carry out simulations to accompany yourdesigns – including FEA and Topological.Align and coordinate withinternal departments, including design, project managers, andstakeholders. Communicate constructively with your peers. Clarifytechnical details for international suppliers with a high level ofprofessionalism. Optimise the development of production-readyassemblies.SkillsSuccessful completion of technical training –ideally focusing on mechanical engineering, plastics technology, orautomotive engineering. Professional experience in the automotivedesign and development industry would be desirable.Extensiveexperience in CAD (including complex surface modelling andintricate assemblies) and preferably in PTC Creo too. An opencommunicator who thrives in a hands-on and team-driven workingenvironment. Someone open to being guided and with strongorganisational skills.
