Department Description

The “Model Landscape” team is responsible mainly for the model governance of credit risk models. The key responsibilities include the management and rollout of CRM (Credit Risk Methods) specific policies and processes, the lead of projects and initiatives in the CRM area, the oversight and regular report of all CRM change the bank activities and the management of tasks and deliveries required by the regulation for the maintenance of Credit Risk Models. The model landscape department provides standards and services along the model lifecycle within CRM and to local entities as stipulated in the respective policies. The department maintains also key expertise in the Asset Class and Default & Forbearance Policy and provides support on group-wide level.

Your Tasks

Model Inventory Tool

• Maintain and contribute to the further development of the CRM Model Inventory Tool (Product Ownership)


• Define DQ reports & initiation of necessary adjustments with key stakeholders to ensure consistency within the model landscape area


• Prepare regular and ad-hoc aggregated reports to all relevant parties 

Model Governance

• Contribute to the set up/adjustments of group-wide governance (process/framework/regulatory compliance) 


• Ensure that the defined activities necessary at each stage of the model lifecycle are fulfilled and the processes ensuring the involvement of all relevant parties are enforced


• Support the monitoring of coherence of Model Landscape policies in context of model development projects – this includes besides tracking of key activities also data preparation for primarily for reports such as the e.g. the Model Risk Mgmt.


• Report, but also for the monitoring of model implementations.


• Organizational support of complex modelling activities (case by case decision)

Model Implementation 

• Define process/framework to ensure smooth group-wide implementation of the credit risk models


• Manage/support the E2E model implementation process of all model changes (oversight, definition of framework/governance,  requirement specification for involved solutions, communication, stakeholder mgmt.)

Your Background

• You have a good understanding of credit risk models/area, credit risk processes and relevant regulations


• Proven experience (min. 5 years) working in the credit risk mgmt. area with knowledge on rating processes and rating model implementation (general set up of infrastructure, rating tools)


• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style


• Strong communication and organizational skills with a collaborative mindset


• You work well both independently and as part of a team


• You are fluent in English


• As an advantage: experience with SQL for analysis, Tableau, JIRA, Confluence and/or in project management


• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance preferred

• The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR XX.XXX,XX gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
