Arbeitsbeschreibung - NPI Materials Program Manager (all genders)

## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAs a Technical Program Manager at Lam, you are not just overseeing projects \u2013 you\u2019re orchestrating breakthroughs in support of [insert strategic initiative]. You\u2019ll lead cross-functional teams through successful project execution blending your technical excellence with strategic planning to deliver new or upgraded products. Your role is vital, owning technical projects from initiation through delivery using your expertise in planning, directing, and monitoring schedules and budget.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * As a Material Program Manager, you act as the interface between a cross-functional program team focusing on the introduction of new products and the Supply Chain Organization\n * In this role, you are accountable for establishing a Supply Chain for Lam\u2019s new products that meets performance, cost, quality, capacity, and on-time-delivery requirements\n * By applying your great communication skills, you provide fact-based guidance to the cross-functional program team, supporting them to make the right decisions \u0026 the program to succeed\n * Form \u0026 lead cross-functional teams to define sourcing strategies\n * Proactively seek and maintain alignments with relevant stakeholders to support program needs and targets\n * Execute new product\u2019s cost analyses \u0026 cost tracking on a regular basis\n * Identify, communicate and manage Supply Chain related program risks and prevent them from materializing\n * Identify and execute material cost reduction opportunities utilizing should costing, benchmarking, cost driver analysis, functional cost analysis, etc.\n * Provide recommendations for new supplier selection \u0026 evaluation\n * Support our new products\u2019 fast transition from Pilot to High Volume Manufacturing\n * Identify critical path parts \u0026 implement measures enabling production to deliver to need date\n * Present the status of your deliverables as well as continuous improvement activities in management reviews on a regular basis\n\n\n\n## Your Profile \n\n * BA/BS in Business Administration or Engineering; MBA desirable\n * 5+ years of work experience\n * 3+ years experience in Strategic Procurement/(Project) Purchasing/Procurement Excellence/ Supply Chain Management. Program/ Project Management experience desired\n * Excellent problem solving and analytical skills\n * Understanding of product cost drivers \u0026 ability to derive corresponding cost reduction measures\n * Excellent communication and influencing skills enabling convincing presentations to leadership, management, and individual contributors\n * High-level of proficiency working with Microsoft Power Point and Excel\n * Professional written and oral communication skills in English\n * Highly intrinsic motivated individual \u0026 results driven personality\n * Progressive, performance and excellence-driven mindset implementing positive change\n * Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment\n\n\n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\n * Experience in or knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries is a plus\n * Knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development \u0026 Release (PDR) procedures.\n * Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2\n * Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is a plus\n * Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies\n * Familiarity with project management software and tools including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent\n * Knowledge of Change Management methodologies is a plus\n\n\n\n## What We\u0027re Offering\n\nThis position will be occupied in Villach. It is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E, depending on Education background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
