Your work reduces churn and rework, strengthens trust in planning signals, and supports reliable customer delivery\u2014particularly during ramps, priority shifts, and periods of increased complexity.\n\nWhen plans change or pressure increases, Master Scheduling serves as the stabilizing function\u2014ensuring planning intent flows smoothly into execution, and operational realities are reflected back into the planning network with discipline and accuracy.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\nThe Master Scheduling Manager leads a team of Master Schedulers and owns the accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of the master production schedule within ERP systems, ensuring alignment with the approved Plan of Record.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n * Lead and develop the Master Scheduling team, reinforcing best practices, accountability, and standardization\n\nReview and manage the master schedule for the Villach \u0026 Global manufacturing sites , ensuring alignment with production capabilities and business objectives\n\n * Own the accuracy, maintenance, and integrity of the master production schedule within ERP systems\n\n * Translate approved build plans into consistent, executable schedules based on project specifications, resource availability, and production constraints\n\n * Collaborate with Global Production Planning, Manufacturing, Supply chain, Logistics, and Order Management and Execution teams to incorporate forecast changes and firm orders\n\n * Proactively identify potential schedule disruptions, develop mitigation plans to minimize operational impact, and escalate risks or issues to senior management as needed\n\n * Maintain comprehensive records of scheduling decisions, changes, and performance outcomes\n\n * Strengthen cross\u2011functional and cross\u2011regional collaboration by encouraging open communication and shared ownership\n\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\nThe ideal candidate is a detail\u2011oriented people leader who brings rigor, structure, and collaboration to near\u2011term planning. You combine strong system knowledge with a continuous improvement mindset and take pride in maintaining accurate, trusted planning signals.\n\n * Proven leadership experience in master scheduling, near\u2011term production planning, or ERP\u2011driven planning within a manufacturing environment\n * Strong understanding of S\u0026OP frameworks and how approved plans translate into operational systems\n * Deep knowledge of manufacturing operations, scheduling logic, and milestone\u2011based planning\n * Demonstrated ability to maintain alignment to the approved Plan of Record while managing near\u2011term changes\n * High proficiency with ERP and scheduling tools, with a strong commitment to data accuracy and system integrity\n * Strong analytical and problem\u2011solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset to identify inefficiencies and enhance planning signal quality\n * People\u2011focused, collaborative leader with the ability to influence across functions without direct authority and develop high\u2011performing schedulers\n * Values discipline as an enabler of speed, prioritizes signal accuracy over churn, and alignment over handoffs\n * Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are strongly preferred\n\n\n\n## What We\u0027re Offering\n\nThis position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in the occupation group G or H. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills.
