PARTNERSHIP AND EVENT MANAGER M/W/X

EHF Marketing GmbH is looking for an experienced Partnership and Event Manager to join its team based in Vienna, Austria. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and delivery of EHF Marketing’s club competitions and flagship events, while acting as link between partners, internal departments, suppliers and event stakeholders. The position combines partnership management, event delivery and project coordination across the EHF Champions League, EHF European League and EHF European Cup.

Aufgaben

Partner Management

• Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of commercial partners across the EHF club competitions
• Manage day-to-day partner relationships and ensure the successful delivery of contractual rights and activations
• Coordinate partner visibility and activation opportunities across digital, broadcast and on-site platforms
• Identify opportunities to enhance partner value and support long-term relationship development
• Prepare and deliver regular partnership reports, including KPI tracking, campaign results, and activation recaps

Event Planning & Delivery

• Planning and delivery of EHF Marketing’s major events, including the EHF FINAL4 events and EHF European League Finals
• Drive the continuous development of event concepts, formats and fan experiences to ensure long-term growth and relevance
• Develop strategies to increase event revenues, including ticketing, hospitality and commercial opportunities
• Manage key event suppliers and service providers and ensure delivery according to agreed standards and objectives
• Support negotiations and relationship management with venues and strategic event partners

Qualifikation

• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment
• Strong attention to detail combined with a pragmatic hands-on approach
• Confidence in managing internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and spoken English and German - other European languages useful
• Interest in and understanding of the sport of handball preferred
• 3-5 years of professional experience in partnership management, event management, sports marketing or a related field
• Experience in managing projects independently and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working in an international environment
• Strategic and operational understanding of sponsorship activation, live event operations and commercial partnerships
• University degree in Marketing and/or Event Management is a strong advantage
