About the role

This is a West Coast position. The ideal candidate will be located in Los Angeles, and will be able to work in the office. However, we will also consider candidates outside of Los Angeles, but located on the West Coast.

If you are looking to learn about all aspects of patent prosecution, we are for you! Our team is structured in a way that does not limit you to tasks in only one area of patent prosecution--be sure to ask us for more information during our interviews!

We are looking for a patent assistant who has at least one year of experience handling various patent prosecution related tasks. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Some example tasks where experience is preferred include:

-Preparing filing materials for US Office Action responses;

-Preparing filing materials for US provisional and non-provisional applications;

-Preparing filing materials for PCT applications;

-Drafting correspondence regarding US and foreign patent matters (e.g., filing of foreign applications, filing of foreign Office Action responses, reporting Office Action and application filings); and

-Remaining current with, and tracking, relevant docketing deadlines for US, foreign and international patent matters.
